MORE WORK FROM HOME THAT PAYS WELL

MORE WORK FROM HOME THAT PAYS WELL

These companies pay jut like a traditional job.  It depends on if after being hired, whether you will be working a full/part time shift.  The main objective on your part, is to be very efficient, accurate, and able to multi-task very well.  These attributes almost always guarantee you getting a call back or offered a full time position.

Also, a couple of these companies ask for more, when it comes to the (tools of the trade).  So it’s always a good idea to invest in as much of them as you can.

Most work at home jobs involve customer service of some sort.  So the absolute necessities naturally would be:a private area/office, usb headset,  dedicated landline, updated operating system, desktop/laptop, network card, and  anti-virus software.
With these you should be more than prepared to start working.

WORK FROM HOME JOBS THAT PAY MORE

Okay, now I am going to concentrate more  on the work from home opportunities that pay MORE, as opposed to the ones that pay more or less (pocket change).  Some of these employers/companies are seeking part-time employees/full time/seasonal and well, you get the picture.
So make sure that you know EXACTLY what you are seeking and willing to commit to.  Some want you to have your own (tools of the trade) such as:

  1. 1.       Your own office or space to work in that is quiet, where you will have no interruptions.
  2. 2.       A headset
  3. 3.       Landline (phone) that you can dedicate to your contract work/business.
  4. 4.       Dependability to fulfill your assigned hours.  DO NOT commit to offered hours if you know that  you cannot fulfill those hours  Believe it or not this is a tool, because they EXPECT you to have this!!!!

Those are the basic tools that will help you to get started on a good foot.  Nowadays, phone work seems to be the work at home option that is abundant.  So, it is wise to invest in a good headset, dedicated landline and a nice quit area in your house where you can do your assignment(s).

PAY RATE
Various companies pay different rates according to the duration of the assignment like, is it seasonal, is it part-time/full time, and the agreed upon/set rate of pay.  So sometimes you actually have no control over the rate of pay, because that is what the employer is willing to offer.
On the other hand, there are occasions when a certain rate of pay IS in your control.  Depending on your expertise, professionalism, word of mouth, past assignments etc. you can pretty much go on your own, set up a website, post your expertise via a poster in the grocery store.  The possibilities are endless.

So, with that said, let’s get started,

  •   Cambridge Transcription  If you like to transcribe, and if you're good at it, check out this company and see if they're a good fit.
  • Alice Darling Audio Transcription  This company is not hiring at this particular moment, but, it's good to keep them in mind or even send them your resume or application for when they do start.
  • Maritz Research  At least check, this opportunity has open positions to be filled.  So check first.
  • American High-Tech Transcription and Reporting Another transcription company, presently hiring.
  • Working Solutions This company is more for the Customer Service/Technical Support person.  If you enjoy doing this kind of work, then Working Solutions should be your cup of tea.

Low Paying Work From Home Opportunities

There are a large amount of opportunities that one can choose from to work from home, but are low paying.  From what I have observed, the majority are in the areas of surveys, mystery shopping, micro tasking, and things of that nature.

So I will list the ones that I have actually worked with first.  Remember, these are not opportunities that will enable you to quit your day/night job.  They are basically chances to earn some pocket change.

I will supply a list of the ones that pay more on another post.
So, here goes.

·         Mturk which is basically a micro-task site.  You choose which task (hit) you want to perform, and if you do it right, you will be compensated.  The easy tasks pay anywhere from $0.02 to $3-5.00.  But you won’t get paid unless the hit you returned is done correctly.
They also have bigger (hits) that pay much more ie: $45-100.00.  You have to qualify for those tasks though.  I say if you are knowledgeable in certain well paying (hits), then by all means….GO FOR IT!!!!  NOTE: You have to have an Amazon account to go here....sign up for free
·         My Survey
·         Inbox Dollars
·         Send Earnings

·         OpinionOutpost  are all survey oriented sites, which  pay a minimum per email that you open when invited to a survey.  And that’s if you qualify for a particular survey.  A couple of them pay you just for opening an email daily. They usually send about 3-5 of them daily.  So it adds up, if you keep at it. But keep in mind that it takes some time before you can cash out.

Swag Buck . Go to this site to do surveys and other tasks.

Work From Home Opportunities

Well for starters, no (and I do mean NO) work from home opportunity should have to be paid for.  The purpose of seeking employment from home, should ideally be free.  Why should one have to pay for a job or the opportunity to make some extra cash from home?  That is defeating the purpose of seeking employment.

The seriousness of your search should also be an important factor.
Do you want to make some extra cash?  Then sign up with survey sites etc.

If you want to make some serious cash?  Go with  Customer Service,  phone work, virtual assistants etc.

Also, one has to be aware that there are lots of scams on the internet that definitely are to be avoided.  One way to find out if a company or organization is reputable, is to:

  • ·         When you are looking for opportunities, research those that interest you.
  • ·         When researching type in (name of company + scam or review.
  • ·         Read the results of your research thoroughly, even try checking the BBB (Better Business Bureau) using that business’ name.
  • ·         With your results from research at hand, you can make an educated decision, as to whether or not you want to venture further with the company/organization.

Now  with that being said, the opportunities that I am providing  have been  researched by myself, and a few I have also actually signed up with and decided they are worth signing up with and sharing with you.  you are more than welcome to double check their validity, but more than likely you will come up with desirable results.
